Trampoline, DMT and Tumbling | Medals won at British Championships
Scottish gymnasts brought home medals at the 2022 Jaffa Trampoline, Tumbling and DMT British Championships in Birmingham. The event at the Utilita Arena on 1 and 2 October made a welcome return after a three-year absence.
Paige Russell from Jump Gymnastics won gold in the youth women's DMT final, following her win at the Scottish national championships in the FIG 11-12 women's DMT category the previous week in Perth.
Sarah Gallacher, the newly crowned Scottish women’s trampoline champion, followed her success with a silver medal in the junior women's trampoline final. The Sparta Trampoline Club gymnast also came home with a bronze in junior women's synchro trampoline final which she won with partner Ellie Vassel from NTGA.
Keir Davidson from Tiggers Trampoline Club won the bronze medal in the junior men's trampoline final. The previous week he had won the Scottish FIG 15-16 men's category and after the bounce-off was runner-up for the Scottish men’s championship title.
In tumbling, Gary Monteith from Sapphire also won bronze in the junior men's category.
