Running alongside our rhythmic performance camp on Saturday 7 June, the coach development session gives coaches tools and ideas to further aid their coaching practice. Working with national technical lead Ruth Hudson, national development coach Laura Donaldson and a ballet expert; coaches will look at flexibility sets, ballet, strength and conditioning, body skill progression and apparatus handling.

This is the first in a series of coach development sessions which will run alongside future performance camps throughout the year (August and November) to continue progressing and developing these skills.

Those interested and would like to attend the session, do not need to have a rhythmic coaching qualification or currently be delivering rhythmic within their club. Coaches only need to be working within a gymnastics club with an interest in rhythmic plus, have an openness and willingness to learn. In addition, there is no cost for coaches to attend this session. However, each coach will need to bring at least 2 gymnasts with them to the session, for which there is a £15 fee per gymnast.

Book your space using the button below and entering password RHY07ESP by 12pm on Friday 30 May. For further information or support, please contact performance@scottishgymnastics.org.
