Clark Takes 2016 Senior British Title
Pamela Clark has been crowned Senior Women's British Trampoline Champion for the first time at the Echo Arena, Liverpool on Saturday 2nd July.
In a closely fought battle with fellow Rio 2016 contenders Kat Driscoll and Bryony Page, Pam went in to the final with just a 0.215 point lead. The former East Kilbride trampolinist continued her strong form through to her final routine, scoring 53.840 to give her a combined score of 153.865 and her first senior title.
Speaking to British Gymnastics following her win Pam said, "It’s hard to put into words how I feel. This is incredible not just winning the British title but winning in such an important year feels very special. You just want to perform to your best, there was a lot of pressure but you train so hard and practice so much and to have it pay off on a day like today is amazing. This medal isn’t just mine though; its everyone who supports me who deserve all the credit."
