Commonwealth Games | Glasgow 2026 Schedule Announced
Glasgow 2026 has released the full schedule of sessions for the ten sports taking part in next year’s Commonwealth Games.
The artistic gymnastics action starts on the first day running from 24 to 28 July. There are eight sessions, six of which are medal events including the evening of the opening day. Glasgow will host 3,000 athletes from around the Commonwealth across the sports for the Games from the 23 July to 2 August.
Jared Tobias joined young athletes from six other sports at the Riverside Museum this morning to launch the schedule. The City of Glasgow gymnast and our men’s under 14 Scottish champion shared what he’s most looking forward to seeing next summer:
“I’m excited to see the different sports and be inspired by the athletes. I love training and hope to compete at the following Games.”

Scottish Gymnastics head of sport Sam Hendrikson commented:
“We cannot wait to see gymnastics at next years Commonwealth Games back in Glasgow. It will be one to remember for years to come and a cherished opportunity for gymnasts and coaches alike to experience representing Team Scotland at a home Games.
“We are grateful for the efforts of Team Scotland and Commonwealth Sport for making this great global event happen.”
