Loulé Cup 2023 | Team Announcement
Sixteen tumbling, trampoline and double-mini trampoline gymnasts have been selected to represent Scotland at the 2023 Loulé Cup which will take place in Loulé, Portugal from 11-15 October.
The team is made up of five tumble, five trampoline and six double-mini trampoline (DMT) gymnasts along with ten coaches and officials. With several being on our national and performance programmes.
The competition is a fantastic opportunity for young gymnasts to gain valuable experience through competing at international competition.
Scotland’s history at the Loulé Cup includes a host of individual medals across the disciplines, including a women’s team bronze and men’s team silver in 2019. Returning to the competition following her success gold medal success in DMT will be Lucy Larg alongside Ben Masterton who brought home the bronze medal in Trampoline last year.
We’re excited to follow the team as they prepare for the competition and congratulate the following gymnasts for their selection.

The team will be joined by the coaching team of Melanie Stewart-Wills, Stuart Langan, James Davidson, Frances Murphy, Daniel Lannigan and Charlotte Hamilton. Brevet judges Jacueline Gilmore, Lynn Simpson and William Craig will be joining the team in representing at this event. Julie Neish will be taking the role of Team Manager for the delegation.
