Scots at Combs-La-Ville 2019
The Scotland team of women’s artistic gymnasts finished sixth in the junior competition at Combs -La-Ville on Saturday 16 November.
The junior team event was won by hosts France, with the USA and Canada in second and third place.
In the all-around competition, Lauren McCormack was the top Scot coming 12th, with Eilidh Gorrell, Millie Redford and Kennedi Foster in 18th, 19th and 20th respectively.
Gymnasts were selected following their progress as part of the women’s artistic national performance programme (NPP) as well competition results from the year.
Performance Manager Jamie Bowie said: “This tournament has been good learning opportunity for the gymnasts and I’m sure they’ll be motivated by what went well during competition and the areas which didn’t go so well on the day as they continue their development.”
