Scottish Gymnastics Chief Executive Appointed
Euan Lowe confirmed as National Governing Bodies new Chief Executive
Scottish Gymnastics is delighted to confirm the appointment of Euan Lowe as Chief Executive Officer.
Euan joins Scottish Gymnastics from sportscotland where he was Lead Manager, heading up the regional sport partnerships in both the Tayside & Fife and Central Partnership areas. He has worked in regional sports partnerships for the past seven years, having been involved in SportTayside & Fife, one of two original and very successful sportscotland pilot projects.
Prior to joining sportscotland, he was national coach of the Scottish Canoe Association where he led a programme of performance development and coaching and was influential in progressing performance athletes from a successful national programme into the UK World Class Programme.
Euan hopes to use the experiences he has gained in both of these roles to deliver a successful future for gymnastics in Scotland, Euan commented, "I am delighted to be joining Scottish Gymnastics as Chief Executive following what we hope will be a very successful Commonwealth Games. I am looking forward to getting to know the clubs, gymnasts, coaches and volunteers, as well as the Board and staff."

Euan will officially take over from interim CEO Brian Samson in September 2014.
