Two Teams Return with Trophies from 2018 Regional Team Final
Scotland’s DMT and tumbling teams returned with trophies after a successful British Gymnastics Regional Team Final in Birmingham.
Competing against 12 other regions last weekend the DMT team impressively won their trophy for the third consecutive year. The tumbling team performed well to go one better than last year’s second placing and brought the trophy home.
With 180 gymnasts, this was Scotland’s largest regional team to have travelled to a competition. Between the three disciples of trampoline, double mini trampoline and tumbling 49 medals were won. In addition, 104 of the Scottish gymnasts secured qualification to the Trampoline and Tumbling NDP Finals in Nottingham on the Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 July where the gymnasts will compete under their clubs as opposed to the Scottish region where we wish them the best of luck.
