Learners must be at least 12 years old on the day of the course.

Participation & Gymnast demonstrators: You do not require any gymnasts for this course. If you are not able to participate please inform your tutor.

Helping within a Scottish Gymnastics club:

Age	Requirement
12 to 15 years old	You must have completed a self-declaration with Scottish Gymnastics prior to commencing mentoring within your club. We also advise you hold a Scottish Gymnastics safeguarding for young leaders award. If you need any assistance, please contact your club’s safeguarding officer or safeguarding@scottishgymnastics.org
16 years old	You must have a PVG record linked to Scottish Gymnastics and have a current Scottish Gymnastics wellbeing & protection award prior to commencing mentoring within your club. If you need any assistance, please contact your club’s safeguarding officer or safeguarding@scottishgymnastics.org.
