Tumbling | Performance Pathway Programme Selections 2021-22
Scottish Gymnastics is very happy to announce the names of the gymnasts who have been selected for the 2021-22 tumbling performance pathway programme.
Our performance programmes are based on a culture of providing a supportive environment for gymnasts across all disciplines to thrive, embrace challenges and overcome setbacks as well as taking ownership of thier own training and development. Our approach is athlete centred, coach led and performance driven – with wellbeing and coach development at the heart.
The tumbling performance programme works towards providing clear opportunities across all levels to drive the development of both athletes and coaches into the British Gymnastics pathways. The gymnasts selected for the tumbling performance pathway programme completed an assessment day in August – which looked at the specific skills noted in our selection criteria, and all gymnasts who were selected for the 2020-21 programme were also invited to attend the 2021-22 programme.
