Coach Education and Development

You can find dates for coaching education courses, development sessions, and discipline pathway training below. Please note, we are always planning ahead and will add further courses as soon as they are confirmed.

If you are interested in a course, click on the booking link on the right which will take you to the course information page. If you have any issues enrolling on a course or the course you want to attend if closed, please email the team on coacheducation@scottishgymnastics.org.

Education Courses:

When you enrol on a course, you are enrolling onto all dates of the course including the assessment date. You are also agreeing to the terms and conditions. You can view these below:

- Demonstrators must be taken to your course and assessment unless otherwise stated in the booking information.
- All Scottish Gymnastics level 1 courses are run face to face in a practical environment NOT virtually. 

Only under exceptional circumstances can candidates transfer to a different assessment date by contacting coacheducation@scottishgymnastics.org. Please see assessment information and payment policy for additional charges that may apply. 

If we don't have the course you are looking for register your interest in the course here. Scottish and British Gymnastics use this to inform us of the demand for additional courses. 

Pathway Training Sessions

Coaches can attend pathway training sessions without having gymnasts in the programme for their development. Please book by emailing performance@scottishgymnastics.org

2023 Coach Education & Development Calendar

- 28 July to 2 August 2024 - Summer Education Camp @ McTaggart Sports Centre
- October 2024 - October Education Camp

When booking online the number of places is displayed on the course enrolment page.  If this course is full this will also be displayed here and you will have the option to join the waiting list before the closing date.

Details regarding cancellations and transferring on to other courses can be found in our terms and conditions. You should also contact the education team to confirm any last minute changes.
